The Impulsive Buy

SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 9/22/2015

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Limited Edition Star Wars Cheez-It
Limited Edition Star Wars Cheez-It

Disney is milking Star Wars money every way possible. That would’ve never happened under George Luc…no wait, he did that too. (Spotted by Robbie at H-E-B.)

Kettle Brand Dill Pickle Krinkle Cut Potato Chips

Here’s a dilemma for you. Let’s say you’re given a sandwich, and that sandwich came with a dill pickle sliver and these chips. Would you eat both? Chip Review tried them. (Spotted by Dustin at World Market.)

Super Sour Fruit Gushers

The flavors in this snack are Crabby Apple, Grumpy Grape, and Scary Cherry. Possible flavors for next year? Cantankerous Cantaloupe, Cranky Cranberry, Tetchy Tangerine, and Waspish Watermelon. (Spotted by Margaret at Kroger.)

Tastykake Fall Salted Caramel Kandy Kakes

I’m surprised there isn’t a Pumpkin Spice Tastykake Kandy Kakes…1, 2, 3, 4…waiting for someone to tell me that there is. (Spotted by Chris at Dollar General.)

Krusteaz Pumpkin Spice Supreme Muffin Mix

I thought this wasn’t new, but I guess I’m just confusing it with either Krusteaz’s Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread Mix, Pumpkin Spice Baking Mix, Pumpkin Spice Pancake Mix, or Pumpkin Pie Bar Mix. (Spotted by Erin at Target.)
