QUICK YOGURT REVIEW: Chobani Coffee Blended Greek Yogurt

Chobani Coffee Blended Greek Yogurt

Chobani’s Coffee Blended Greek Yogurt has 160 calories, so this quick review will have exactly 160 words.

I like coffee. I like Greek yogurt. So what could go wrong with coffee-flavored Greek yogurt?

EVERYTHING!

Okay, almost everything. After pulling back the foil lid I smelled a wonderful coffee aroma, like I stepped into a Starbucks, but after that it was all downhill.

At first taste, it’s not a flavor I would immediately assume is coffee. The coffee and tartness of the yogurt hide each other well. There’s a cheese-like aftertaste, but right before that, it tastes like lychee. It’s super weird and it’s freaking out my taste buds.

I think one would have to unconditionally love coffee AND Greek yogurt to say that they loved this. For me, I got through the container without spitting it out or gagging, but that, obviously, is not an endorsement. Before this, I didn’t have a least favorite Chobani flavor, but I do now.

  1. I agree with your rating. I think the off flavor might be from the lemon juice. I don’t want lemon in my coffee.

  2. Truly one of the worst yogurts I’ve ever had the misfortune of tasting. I couldn’t even finish the cup.

  3. What’s funny about this flavor is that I can’t stand the weird end-note of sweetness and acidity, yet I still buy it when at Target and picking out yogurts for the week, I hate to love it,

  4. I have never tried this one before but I have had a Oikos Cafe Latte yogurt which is my favorite so I wonder how different the brands are with coffee flavored yogurt.

  5. I love coffee yogurts but this one actually tastes like I vomited in my mouth after each spoonful, had to throw it away. Worst ever, such a disappointment.

  6. CHOBANI coffee blended yogurt is the best yogurt on the market… if you love Greek yogurt and the taste of coffee you will simply adore it… I have taste tested every brand and nothing can compare to Chobani… the creamy texture and evaporated cane juice as a sweetener adds to the quality of the product…mm m… yummy for the tummy (literally)… it’s the BEST!!!
