QUICK YOGURT REVIEW: Yoplait Plenti Strawberry Greek Yogurt

Yoplait Plenti Strawberry Greek Yogurt

Yoplait’s Plenti Strawberry Greek Yogurt has 140 calories, so this review will have exactly 140 words.

The highlight of this yogurt are the whole grain oats, flax, and pumpkin seeds floating IN the yogurt. There’s no side mix-ins compartment like Chobani Flip or mix-ins in the cover like YoCrunch. Yoplait continues to make it so easait for folks who like simple yogurt instructions.

The yogurt tastes and looks like regular Yoplait strawberry yogurt with bits of fruit. As for the texture of the whole grain oats, flax, and pumpkin seeds that have been sitting in yogurt for days or weeks, they were soft and squishy like quinoa in a quinoa salad. Their texture was weird at first, but halfway through I didn’t mind it. To be honest, if they were still crunchy I would’ve yelled, “Science, what have you done!”

  1. Yeah the texture is what turns me off. Shame because it would be delicious if the seeds were kept separate.

  2. I tried these, worst yogurt I ever had, I ate part of one, and threw the other two I’d bought away. It felt like there was something foreign in my yogurt that shouldn’t have been there (sort of like globs of something that didn’t dissolve properly.) And I didn’t like the flavor of the yogurt either. It SOUNDED interesting but just was terrible. I’m not sure if the globs were the oatmeal or really soggy pumpkin seeds, or the flax. I’ve had flaxseed in stuff before, but not flax. At least it doesn’t have a lot of junk/artificial sweeteners in it.

  3. I was lucky enough (or rather.. unfortunate?) enough to get a free Plenti from a store coupon and I bought it for my mom.. Was coconut flavor (she loves coconut) and she hated it. lol She’s like it’s all kinds of wrong.. The texture and consistency from the seeds and oatmeal just made it a mess. Yogurt should be smooth (except fruit bits) according to her tastes. Was pretty funny when I asked how she liked it. Was all sorts of “nope! Never again!”

  4. I love this stuff so much I can hardly keep it in the house because I end up eating it with one finger while standing in front of the fridge.

I keep seeing it at the 99 cent store and now I know why. Because I’m the only person in the world with good taste. Can’t believe you all don’t like it!

  5. Yoplait Plenti, I ate with some whole grain crackers. I don’t taste it to be any BETTER than any other Greek yogurt, just way OVER PRICED! It includes flaxseed, and pumpkin seeds and… not any real big deal to me in this form. I only purchased two, just to try, don’t believe I’ll be returning to the store for anymore. Perhaps, they should use the separation containers for the seeds & oats, and leave as is for the “Nursing Home Crew”.

  6. I tried Yoplait PLENTI Blueberry yogurt today for the first time and I LOVE IT. I feel that I am doing something good for myself in that it has grains in it. It tasted good to me and I will purchase it again. Publix has this yogurt on sale: 10 tubs for $10, each tub has 5.5 ounces and that’s a good price. gb

  7. Very delicious!!! I have tried the plenti with oatmeal and the one with flax seeds. I purchase like 10 a week and the consistency does not bother me at all.
