FAST FOOD NEWS: Costco Kirkland Signature Beef Chili with Beans

Kirkland Signature Beef Chili with Beans

Impulsive Buy reader Rob took this photo at a Costco food court in San Diego. After doing a quick Google search, it appears some Costco locations have been offering a bowl of beef chili with beans, bell peppers, and onions since May 2015. I’m posting this photo because I want to know if this has rolled out nationwide or if they’re just testing it.

If you’ve seen it at your local Costco, let us know in the comments. And if you’ve tried it, let us know in the comments if it warms your belly and satisfies your taste buds.

  1. I’ve seen it at the Costco in Burnsville, MN….Haven’t tried it though…I can’t ever resist the frozen yogurt!

    1. I had this chili in the San Bernardino, Ca store yesterday.

It was excellent and I hope they keep it and expand it to all stores.

  2. Good time for national rollout, summer. Who wants a hot bowl of chili in winter?

  3. I just saw this for the first time the other day in Beaverton, OR, but I didn’t try it.

  4. I’d like to see that here, localized. You know, hot dog chili with rice. Come on, Costco!

  5. They don’t have it at the one in Huntsville, AL. They do have a smoked brisket sandwich, though, which I haven’t noticed there before.

  6. Someone else commented that it is in Anchorage, AK. I tried it. Pretty good, nothing crazy. They just went with a classic chili with beans profile.

  7. We have it in Idaho. But still waiting for baked potatoes to be served with it.

  8. YES, we just had your chili at the store in Green Bay, WI. It was excellent!! Is it available for sale in the store?? Hope so! Thanks!!!

  9. My wife’s favorite chile. Sad to say it’s seasonal at the Altamont Springs FL. Costco, i.e., not served during the Summer (kind of makes sense).

  10. Tried it at UTSA Blvd. in San Antonio. Pretty good…not mine but would work in a pinch. Was disappointed that I couldn’t find any in the can on the shelf for sale.

  11. Just arrived at Concord Ca Costco its excellent and served with a side of grated cheddar. Just add onions and your set!

  12. I had the chili twice. The first time, as I recall was ok. Today’s batch was very tangy and ketchupy :p Definitely disappointing . It’s been an hour, my stomach is uneasy and the ketchup taste is still in my mouth.

  13. Enjoyed a cup of this chili at the Robinson Mall Costco, Pittsburgh, Pa.
A footlong beef hot dog finished it off. I already asked for the recipe and got
a cold shoulder. I’m sure the food clerk had no idea what was in the recipe.
Calories? Who cares when it’s that good.
