Jack in the Box Triple Cheese Hash Brown Breakfast Burrito

Jack in the Box’s breakfast sandwiches and burritos come with either bacon, sausage, ham, or a combination of them. But Jack’s latest breakfast menu item, the Triple Cheese & Hash Brown Breakfast Burrito, has none of them.

The 12-ounce burrito features warm flour tortilla filled with scrambled eggs, crispy hash browns, and a cheesy threesome of pepper jack, provolone, and cheddar. It’s also served with a side of Jack’s Fire Roasted Salsa.

  1. I tried one of these last night. It was decent, but nothing special. Unfortunately I was up all night with diarrhea after that.

    1. you tried a BREAKFAST burrito for dinner and dare to say it’s not special! 😉
Just kidding: hope you’re well again 🙂

    2. Now I know why I don’t eat fast food. The nutritional value (or lack thereof) has me steering clear of ever consuming this as a food choice.

  2. Finally, a fast-food restaurant breakfast product that doesn’t have a family pet in it, for us non-meat eaters. 😉 And it actually sounds pretty delicious (albeit with a boatload of calories, although also with more than half-a-day’s protein)! Am looking forward to a review. And add some salsa to it, for a kick!

      1. LOL–guess you missed the wink . . . . (And by the way, some people DO keep pigs as pets, esp. pygmy pigs.)

  3. Really well-made and delicious in Eugene, OR. I’ve had two (!) so far–which means, as it did with the fantastic Breakfast Monster taco means it will disappear forever soon. Irony bonus points: JIB introduces its sole non-meat breakfast option (of course you’re right, Marvo) the week after Lent ends. “Bad!” (as the micro-handed Orange Gasbag would tweet)

  4. It was a good size and good price. It had good flavor with the 3 cheeses and you can ad bacon for a small fee. Im not one for breakfast burritos but this was really good and filling.

  5. Tried the triple cheese. It rocks. Gooey like it is supposed to be, and the hash brown completes it. My new favorite breakfast burrito.

  6. I hate when everything is on one side. Of the burrito. Just open one up. Are they not trai.ed to put the i.ingredients in evenly?! LOL

  7. I thought it was a little bland. Would definitely benefit from adding some kind of meat. I really expected it to have more taste of cheese. I mean, with 3 cheeses! I might give it be more try just to be fair but, it was not an immediate hit with me.

    1. Well, guess I HAVE TO try it now: Jack in the Box just sent out a BOGO coupon for it. Although, if I understand matters correctly, 2 of these will be around a whopping 85% of one’s calories for the day . . . !

  8. After looking at the nutrition information, above, take a guess why the top 3 causes of death in the USA; Cancer, Diabetes, and Heart Disease. This kind of food is one of the reasons.

  9. I don’t typically eat fast food, but was really craving a breakfast meal of some sort on the way to work. I stopped at Jack’s and was pleased to see a breakfast burrito, sans meat, on the list. The burrito certainly did have a lot of cheese, way too much cheese in my opinion, and after reading the caloric values of said burrito, I wish I could take back having ever ordered it. Perhaps if they would lessen the amount of cheese in the burrito, it would be a bit better, but still not worth the 9 miles I need to run tonight to burn it off.
