FAST FOOD NEWS: Starbucks Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew

Starbucks Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew

The beverage features Starbucks’ 20-hour slow steeped Cold Brew Coffee over ice and is topped with house-made vanilla sweet cream, which floats on top of the beverage before slowly cascading down. The iced beverage is available throughout the summer in the U.S. and Canada.

  1. I am willing to use 6 weight watchers points to try the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew.

  2. Tried it this morning, it was good! I got a Grande and personally I could have used a touch less of the cream, but the standard amount was so much that I wasn’t going to drink it. I’d describe it as a richer, bolder iced coffee.
The vanilla flavor isn’t overwhelming. I’d probably order it again, with a smidge less of the cream 🙂

  3. I was not impressed. I was expecting it to have a sweet vanilla taste….instead it tasted like my normal cold brew with a splash of half and half. Maybe it was just my Starbucks? Anyone else have a similar experience?

    1. I experienced the same thing. I thought maybe the barista messed up my order. I rather just have the reg cold brew for 5 cals instead of 110 cals w this “vanilla sweet cream”

    2. It was your Starbucks. Just tried it and it was fantastic. A nice twist for someone who normally drinks iced coffee black.

    3. I had the same experience! I thought maybe they made it wrong. No vanilla flavor, no sweetness. It was terrible!

      1. I agree. Had it made at 2 different locations and it tasted the same. Bitter, crude oil taste. Terrible!!!

  4. I think it depends on the barista honestly. I’ve learned to order the drink with extra cream because sometimes the barista doesn’t put enough cream. That’s when the flavor gets lost. But I love this drink. It’s definitely my new favorite. So simple yet so good.
