For years, I had no idea why it’s called Ritter Sport and I never spent the 10-15 seconds to look it up. Well, I just spent 10-20 seconds looking it up and learned Ritter is the last name of the family who created it (duh) and “Sport” refers to the square shape of the bar and how it fits into a sport jacket pocket.
