FAST FOOD NEWS: Jack in the Box Brunchfast Menu

Jack in the Box Brunchfast

Jack in the Box did something crazy again.

The fast food chain created a portmanteau using another portmanteau. That’s crazy.

They also rolled out their Brunchfast Menu with a bunch of new entrees and sides.

One of the highlights of the menu is the Bacon & Egg Chicken Sandwich. It features crispy all-white meat chicken topped with a fried egg, American cheese, hickory smoked bacon, and bacon mayo on a toasted English muffin.

The sandwich has 649 calories, 39 grams of fat, 301 milligrams of cholesterol, 1629 milligrams of sodium, 37 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, and 37 grams of protein.

Then there’s the Brunch Burger, which is different than the one Jack in the Box offered in 2013 as a Munchie Meal. The burger has a 100 percent beef patty, a fried egg, American cheese, two slices of hickory smoked bacon, and mayonnaise on a buttery croissant. The older version also had a hash brown.

It has 770 calories, 55 grams of fat, 22 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat, 322 milligrams of cholesterol, 732 milligrams of sodium, 32 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, and 37 grams of protein.

Another highlight of the menu is the Southwest Scrambler Plate that features scrambled eggs served with fire roasted peppers, chiles, and pepper jack cheese; homestyle potatoes; and your choice of bacon or sausage.

It has 495 calories, 28 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 327 milligrams of cholesterol, 1375 milligrams of sodium, 38 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of fiber, and 23 grams of protein.

Other items on the Brunchfast menu include a side order of Homestyle Potatoes, Orange Cranberry Muffins, Mini Pancakes, A Blood Orange Fruit Cooler, iced coffee, and premium roast coffee.

Brunchfast is available all day at participating Jack in the Box locations.

If you’ve tried any of the items, let us know what you think of it in the comments.
