FAST FOOD NEWS: Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s Budweiser Beer Cheese Bacon Burger

Carl s Jr and Hardees Budweiser Beer Cheese Bacon Burger

Sister chains Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s have rolled out another sandwich with an alcohol-flavored ingredient. This time they’ve teamed up with Anheuser-Busch to offer the Budweiser Beer Cheese Bacon Burger.

It follows the Midnight Moonshine Burger, Redhook Beer Battered Cod Fish Sandwich, and Kentucky Bourbon Burger on what should be called Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s Bar Sandwich Crawl.

The new burger features a charbroiled, grass-fed, all-natural beef patty (or a Black Angus patty) with thick-cut Applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, and a Budweiser beer cheese sauce on a brioche-style premium bun. The beer-flavored ingredient is a creamy cheddar cheese sauce blended with the classic taste of America’s No. 1 full-flavored lager.

Budweiser Beer Cheese Fries is also being offered at participating locations. It’s made up of fries topped with the same beer cheese sauce and crumbled bacon.

A Carl’s Jr. Budweiser Beer Cheese Bacon Burger with an all-natural patty has 710 calories, 38 grams of fat, 16 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 85 milligrams of cholesterol, 1430 milligrams of sodium, 51 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 11 grams of sugar, and 40 grams of protein.

  1. I saw this advertised in the drive-thru the other day but swear it was missing the Budweiser branding. Maybe an Oregon rule against alcohol advertising?
