You weekend warriors might be looking at the Mtn Dew Spiked Raspberry Lemonade and thinking, “Yes! I’m going to get wasted on that someday!” But if you look closely at the poorly lit can, you’ll see the word “non-alcoholic.” So if there isn’t any alcohol, how is it spiked? Prickly pear cactus juice is the answer.

This beverage, along with three other new Mtn Dew varieties, were shown at the 2016 NACS Show in Atlanta, Georgia. The other new drinks were Mtn Dew White Label (a tropical citrus craft soda), Mtn Dew Green Label (a green apple kiwi craft soda), and Mtn Dew Kickstart Mango Lime.
The new beverages will be hitting shelves sometime next year.

Why am i always exited for everything food related, but when it comnes down to “energy drinks” try to be cool and try to throw amazing “new” flavors at us it seems like they overdo it?
(i mean i really expect something like this from monster and rockstar energy drinks, but actually not from a “settled” soda brand like pepsi, mtn dew, fanta etc. It’s ok for them to come up with one or two flavors, but not with prickly pear juice or tea in it or brewed like german beer… -.- | not that prickly pear and german beer is bad… i mean one of the only beer mixed drinks i drink is wheat beer with prickly pear: http://www.schoefferhofer.de/fileadmin/user_upload/products/bottles_big/pr_bottle_big_weizenmix_kaktusfeige.png xD)
I will eagerly await the new Mt Dew Label sodas.. I really liked Black label. Haven’t had one in a while, I might need to go shopping and pick up some. Only sucks they’re sold individually, sell me a 6-pk and be fancy.
