Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

For a very limited time Starbucks is offering the Fruitcake Frappuccino, inspired by one of the least favorite desserts of the season.

The blended beverage features a Hazelnut Frappuccino base blended with dried fruit, cinnamon, milk, and ice. Then it’s topped with whipped cream, caramel dots, and a matcha sprinkle. The dried fruits are cranberries, golden raisins, zante currant raisins, and cherries.

The Fruitcake Frappuccino is available starting today (December 15) through the weekend at participating Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada.

  1. I work at starbucks. When they told us about this last week, I really wanted to hate it.

    It’s honestly pretty good.

  2. I tried this today, and while the *intended* flavor was unique, I discovered bits of chopped-up plastic at the bottom of the cup (and managed to swallow one – it’s still stuck at the back of my throat). I went back for a refund, and the clerk said that it was the wrapping from the dried fruit. She didn’t seem at all surprised – apparently, this had happened before?

Hope the piece of plastic works itself out.
