Starbucks Matcha Lemonade and Violet Drink

Update: We reviewed the Matcha Lemonade! Click here to read our review.

Starbucks has partnered with Lady Gaga to offer the Cups of Kindness Collection that features four iced beverages hand-picked by Lady Gaga. Two of them, the Pink Drink and Ombré Pink Drink, are menu regulars. But there are also two new beverages — the Violet Drink and Matcha Lemonade.

The Violet Drink is a Very Berry Hibiscus Starbucks Refreshers Beverage mixed with coconutmilk, freeze-dried blackberries, and ice. The Matcha Lemonade combines finely ground Teavana matcha green tea and lemonade that’s shaken with ice.

Starbucks is donating 25 cents from each Cups of Kindness beverage sold through June 19 to the Born This Way Foundation. According to the coffee chain, funds raised will go toward programs that support youth wellness and empowerment by fostering kindness, improving mental health resources, and creating more positive environments.

  1. If you like greens then the matcha lemonade might be your cup of tea. I just can’t stomach it. Maybe with less scoops of the matcha. But you can’t even taste the lemonade.
