FAST FOOD NEWS: Chick-fil-A’s Hash Brown Scramble

Chick fil A Hash Brown Scramble Burrito + Bowl

Chick-fil-A has a new entree to start your day. Oh wow. That rhymed!

The Hash Brown Scramble is the chain’s first breakfast bowl and it features Chick-fil-A’s signature “tot” style hash browns, scrambled eggs, a Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese blend, and your choice of sliced chicken nuggets or sausage. It’s also served with a jalapeño salsa.

If you’re a fan of Chick-fil-A’s current Breakfast Burrito, I have bad news for you. The Hash Brown Scramble is also available as a burrito and is replacing your beloved Breakfast Burrito.

The breakfast menu item has 450 calories and 30 grams of protein when made with nuggets. The bowl and burrito start at $3.49.

If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments. And if you’re mad because the Chick-fil-A Breakfast Burrito is being replaced, you can vent in the comments.

  1. Tried both the sausage bowl and the chicken burrito. (For science) the chicken was the winner between both meats (texture, amount and flavor) and as much as I love a good breakfast bowl the burrito was the better option. I’m actually really thrilled for a breakfast burrito option without peppers and onion too

  2. The new burrito is a terrible greasy mess. The old burrito was awesome. Why would they mess with perfection?

  3. I tried the chicken this morning, free by way of their phone app (a September promotion). I have to say i liked it, a lot, but my one beef (sorry ChikfilA cows) with it is that it’s actually QUITE small. It’s served in the size bowl you’d expect to see a side item in, like coleslaw or a desert. I’m glad I didn’t pay the $4 for it – I’d have been pissed. I’m a low-carber, so I’m happy to see this as an option (coming in at around 20-25 carbs) but it would not be my first choice for the money.

  4. I miss the old breakfast burrito, don’t like the addition of tater tots and now they no longer have the fried onion and green pepper. Wish they would bring back the original one 🙂
