WEEK IN REVIEWS – 9/16/2017

Taco Bell

Here are a few product reviews posted this week from other blogs we follow of stuff we probably won’t try.

It packed a decent amount of heat but it wasn’t spicier than Diablo sauce or the Sriracha sauce Taco Bell offered a while back.(via Brand Eating)

It’s legitimately good. And serious. This isn’t kid stuff or some pseudo-nutro Nature Valley type of deal(via What’s Good at Trader Joe’s)

The ice cream finishes with a really harsh, almost medicinal quality that I initially thought was the result of way too much vanilla extract, but looking at the ingredients it’s pretty obvious it’s the sweetener they used – stevia.(via Sean’s Skillet)

Huffing deep into the bag, Malt-O-Meal’s Chocolatey Chip Cookie Bites cereal smells simply euphoric—a mix of oily and fudgy.(via Cerealously)

How did these cookies smell so good, but fall short in flavor?(via Snack Cellar)

BONUS: If you want to read my review of convenience store pho (Vietnamese soup) that I wrote for a lifestyle site here in Hawaii, here you go.

  1. Hey Marvo! I saw your pho review on Frolic and I guess I’ll have to try it. I work next to a 7-11 so I’ve seen it but wasnt sure about trying it. Did you get to try the chicken one?

Seeing this also reminded me about the review you did on the Hawaiian Sun Beach n Berry punch. I didn’t get to go to the festival so I guess I have to go look for that too.
