  1. I have no idea if I like cauliflower, because I’ve never been forced to try it and I’ve never volunteered to try it. Based on all these new Green Giant items, I now have even more opportunities to give it a go. I still won’t try it, though.

    1. Same. LOL If I do try it, it will probably be mixed in with something like mashed potatoes.. Which I would probably be unaware contained cauliflower until after the fact. I have seen videos where people use cauliflower as pizza crust or even as “bread” in a grilled cheese which intrigues me but.. yeah, no.

  2. The lemon and garlic riced cauliflower was pretty gross, I ended up tossing it. I didn’t expect to like it in the first place, but I decided to take a chance lol. Perhaps it would be better with some margarine or something though.

  3. I like the Green Giant riced cauliflower (have only tried the plain), but I like cauliflower in general. Also like their somewhat allergenic (for me) broccoli tots and cauliflower tots, so will definitely try the new flavors if they show up in my local grocery store. They sound really good, since I like sweet potatoes and also corn.

  4. The Guinness loaded taters and Mac n cheese bites are really bad. I want to like them because I love Guinness, but the Guinness flavoring in it is so chemically bitter and unpleasant.

    1. Had loaded taters and irish nachos last night. Ended up throwing them out. They are really gross. Hours later, I still can’t get that nasty taste out of my mouth.

  5. The Guinness snacks are sooooo gross. I tried the mac n cheese bites and the nachos. Both are terrible

  6. My brother and I each bought one Guinness food product separately to try them. He got the Irish nachos and I got the loaded taters. We cooked them as directed and to be honest were not at all to our liking. They taste terrible and we could only eat one piece each and even when my nephew arrived home he tried them as was just as disappointed in them as we were. Wish I could call the company and see what I can do as they were 5 dollars each and that’s just unacceptable. Will try to see if I can return to the store we purchased them from
( shoprite in lawnside NJ )

  7. The Guinness Mac and Cheese Bites and Loaded Tots are horrible. I am not picky at all when it comes to appetizer type snacks but I could not finish either serving I had.

  8. Guinness frozen food review: tried all three thinking they looked so delicious in the photos! The loaded nachos I tried first. I thought maybe they had gone bad or they used some bad peppers. Then tried the loaded tater tots and they had the same funky taste that reminded me of mildew or mold. For the Mac and cheese bites, I gave them to someone else to see if it was just me. Nope, the Guinness is used in the beer batter for the fried foods but when it is cooked it gets a very tangy and potent taste that completely ruins the food. I love beer batter with hoppy beer, but Guinness turns into sour molasses. Maybe you have to be a die hard Guinness fan to like it

  9. Got the mac and cheese bites for the Superbowl and found them to be equally disappointing as the half time show. Never one to throw out food, but my wife and I had one each and had to toss the rest. These things are gross and its so disappointing since I love the beer!!! Please stick w beer and dont put out trash with your name on it – very deceiving.

  10. I bought the frozen mac and cheese bites at our local Kroger store. I was excited to fix them for supper this evening and especially since they didn’t have to be deep fried. This was the absolute nastiest food I have ever tried to eat. Not counting the fact that it was $5.99. I have a very limited income and this was a treat. The batter was nasty and dry like saw dust and no flavor at all. My treat a bust.

  11. Had the mac & cheese bites and the loaded nachos and there was very little difference in taste between the two. An overwhelming strong flavor of nasty ! Stale coffee and beer. So I started searching to see if anyone else had tried these and liked them. Nope.. I hadn’t found one comment saying someone likes it. How these ever passed any kind of test to make it to our grocery store is beyond me . Like everyone else’s comments what a waste of time cooking then… and money that was thrown away.
