FAST FOOD NEWS: Burger King Farmhouse King

Burger King Farmhouse King

Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

Burger King’s new Farmhouse King combines proteins from a cow, pig, and chicken.

Sadly, the chicken is represented by a fried egg and not a chicken patty. The other two farm animals come in form of two Whopper-sized beef patties and thick-cut smoked bacon. The Farmhouse King is topped with two American cheese slices, crispy onions, ketchup, and BK’s “signature sauce” on a toasted sesame seed bun.

The farm-y sandwich has currently an empty space where the calories should be on the website, 80 grams of fat, 28 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat, 337 milligrams of cholesterol, 2050 milligrams of sodium, 62 grams of carbohydrates, 15 grams of sugar, and 63 grams of protein.

  1. I tried it and for the most part I liked it. A lil bit goopy with all the sauces and the egg flavor was swallowed up by all the beef, but the sauce was tasty and the burger was flavor packed. The $6.29 price tag for just the burger also left me with a bit of sticker shock but it was a hefty burger; close to a pound with all of the toppings

  2. For anyone interested in the calories, it’s 1220 calories. You can calculate that for anything you’re given the macors on, using the below information for calories/gram and plugging in your maco values! Also sorry to burst any bubbles with the high calorie count, if that wasn’t what you were expecting.

    (80 g fat * 9 calories/1 g fat) + (62 g carbs * 4 calories/1 g carbs) + (63 g protein * 4 calories/1 g protein) = 1220 calories

  3. I had one just yesterday. It was fine as a burger, but I wouldn’t have known the egg was there if I was going only on taste, it was completely lost in the other flavors. This is in big part because it’s a typical pre-process fast food breakfast egg patty, so it’s not going to be a soft yolk or have the crispy edges of a “real” fried egg. The sauce is also pretty heavy handed, but good. Reminded me of the sauce they used on the Stackers. The fried onions were the star as far as I was concerned, they were a great add.

  4. It tastes amazing. Very good, very filling. I usually don’t eat burgers but as soon as I saw this burger I fell in love it’s so juicy and cheesey and I love it.

  5. The farmhouse is great! I love the onion strips on it & was wondering where I could buy some just to use around the kitchen for other sides & salads? If you could please let me know, I would really appreciate it!!! Thank You Very Much!!!
