Drake’s Devil Dogs have been around for almost 100 years and only now the brand realizes they could dip it into fudge. (Spotted by Scott K)

  1. Oh my goodness! I’d completely forgotten about Devil Dogs! They were a staple of my childhood! My sister and I grew up on them, other Hostess sweet treats and of course, being Philadelphia suburb natives, Tastykakes!

  2. I quite literally let out a cry of despair (startling the cats and the spouse) upon seeing this post, since we live in an area of the country that is underserved by Drake’s. (A nice way of saying they don’t sell them here at all.) I guess I’m going to have to find somewhere that ships….Devil Dogs are still my favorite, and this is the perfect gilding of the lily!

  3. I’ve found some in NJ. They are so incredibly rich, I couldn’t finish a whole one. They kind of remind me of Yodels.

  4. Devil dogs are also what we call hot dogs wrapped in bacon and slathered in greasy peppers and onions, sold by unlicensed street vendors in Los Angeles. Yummy yummy devil dogs. So delicious!
