TIB’S SEASON OF GIVING 2017 (DAY 3): Trader Joe’s Gift Card

Trader Joes 2017

We didn’t do any Trader Joe’s reviews this year, but we posted a lot of Spotted on Shelves photos of TJ’s products — 251 to be exact. Besides, our friends over at What’s Good at Trader Joe’s do a great job at reviewing the latest and greatest.

So the celebrate those 251 photos and because I happen to have a $10 Trader Joe’s gift card in my desk drawer, we’ll be giving away said gift card.

RULES:

To enter this prize drawing for a $10 Trader Joe’s Gift Card, leave a comment with THIS post. You can write whatever you want, but please don’t forget to fill out the email field because we’ll be emailing the randomly selected winner for his or her mailing address.

We will stop accepting entries on December 24, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time (2:00 a.m. Pacific, 5:00 a.m. Eastern). Only one comment allowed per person, and it’s only open to U.S. residents 18 years old or older.

  1. I like Trader Joe’s unfortunately there is not one either 20 minutes of where I live. I go only three or four times a year.

  2. I love trader joes, but the closest one is over 2.5 hours away 🙁
I am forever jealous of you guys who can get all their LE Stuff

  3. I might have to make the 40 minute drive to one of the nearby TJs today to find some stocking stuffers.

    1. I enjoy your posts and have tried some of your recommendations, always fun to try new items. I shop at TJ’s weekly, it is one of my favorites. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you.

  4. I still feel like winning a gift card to Trader Joe’s would be the push I need to finally go there.

  5. I’d use the gift card to only buy Crunchy Mochi Rice Nuggets, which I’d undoubtedly eat in one sitting

  6. I can’t decide if I love Trader Joe’s for making the Chicken Pot Pie bites, or hate them for it. I want some right now….

  7. Trader Joe’s is one of my favorite grocery stores … I go in only needing 1 thing, then inevitably walk out with 10, lol!

  8. I love Trader Joe’s nearly as much as I love being updated on the newest products on The Impulsive Buy. ?

  9. Happy Holidays to All ! ~ love shopping at TJ’s but I’m broke so can’t shop there before > and have to go to the hospital next week. 🙁

  10. One of the best TJ’s finds for me this year was their raspberry chevre, which I’d have never known about if not for this site. It never made it to their Fearless Flyer, their site, or their social media. BLESS YOU IMPULSIVE BUY.

  11. If Donald Trump contracted AIDS and found out that Obama both discovered and put out the cure for it during his term, would Trump repeal it?

  12. Love TJ’s and wish we had one here in Hawaii! Too bad then we would need to find a new spot to pick up all our omiyage!

  13. I know this is an ingredient for “insta-crazy” — but I’ve told my boyfriend I’m not sure I can relocate anywhere without a Trader Joe’s. There are a quite a few things I have not loved, but for the most part, its my favorite store and definitely the “most favorite.” An entertaining place to shop, and I’ve never had an experience that wasn’t friendly in every way — right down to “open it now and try it, you’ll like it” from the employees.

Plus — Aloha! My family lives on the Big Island in Hawaii so I’m always surprised you find so many interesting things to try, yourself, in the Islands, and it gives my mother hope that she can occasionally find the interesting things at grocery stores that we find here, too!

  14. “Most interesting” I meant — and of course — thank you for such a generous gift opportunity! Aloha, Merry Christmas.

  15. Hey Joe! After college I lived near one of the first TJ’s in LA, then got a job near the very first store in Pasadena. When I moved upstate 10 years ago, it was a relief to see TJ’s in my new town.

  16. I can’t believe it took TJ’s so long to get to my town, but I am beyond happy that they finally made it.

  17. I love the Spotted on Shelves segments! I also love Trader Joe’s. And Brookstone. I like Brookstone.

  18. People are going crazy over the Jingle Jangle stuff at Trader Joe’s and I’ve never had it before so I might have to check it out!!

  19. I haven’t made it to one yet. But $10 would certainly go towards getting into one next time I’m downstate.

  20. Ah, Trader Joe’s! My favorite place for everything pumpkin during pumpkin season! There are so many goodies that I enjoy, but the one that I missed most this year that did not return was the mini ice cream sandwiches made with pumpkin ice cream sandwiched between two mini ginger cookies. Those were amazing! Hopefully they will return next year….

  21. Nicest staff – They carried my groceries to my car while I was on crutches – more than once!

  22. I always optimistically grab a handheld basket at TJ’s…but by the third aisle, I slink back to the front of the store to exchange my basket for a cart. So many delicious offerings!

  23. Teeny tiny avocados, 6 pack whole milk peach and mango yogurt cups, onion salt seasoning and Turkish Honey are my repeat purchases. Mostly happy with everything I try from there!

  24. This here college student could really use this! (Cant promise I won’t spend it all on jingle jangle, though…)
