Next year, McDonald’s is bringing back $1 menu items so the $10 gift card we’re giving away is enough to pay for a McDonald’s Dollar Menu feast. The $1 menu items include the sausage burrito, McChicken, Cheeseburger, and any size soft drink.

Oh geez, this sounds like an ad for the new Dollar Menu, coming January 4 at participating locations.

To enter this prize drawing for a $10 McDonald’s Gift Card, leave a comment with THIS post. You can write whatever you want, but please don’t forget to fill out the email field because we’ll be emailing the randomly selected winner for his or her mailing address.

We will stop accepting entries on December 29, 2017 at 12:00 a.m. Hawaii Standard Time (2:00 a.m. Pacific, 5:00 a.m. Eastern). Only one comment allowed per person, and it’s only open to U.S. residents 18 years old or older.

  10. In high school I got a job at a then-new McD’s, considered one of the largest west of the Mississippi, so the heavily-staffed kitchen had some specialization, and I became a Filet-O-Fish Specialist… one of the favorite job titles I’ve ever had.

  11. There’s a new $3 chicken sandwich sing to the dollar menu as well, interested in that. Really wish the $1 burgers they introduced a few years back (the white cheddar grilled onion, or the Fritos one) were still available everywhere.

  18. I used to have the first issue of Nintendo Power. Before that I was getting the Nintendo fun club newsletter in the mail but they phased that out and started Nintendo Power in its place.

  27. McDonald’s….I don’t go there very often anymore, but they really do have the BEST French fries. And a Big Mac is something I need to have maybe once a year. As for fast food breakfast items, their hash browns and and breakfast burritos rule, in my opinion. I think I need to revisit the $1 menu, though! Time for a family trip to McDonald’s for some cheap eats!

  69. McDonald’s Fish Filet has been my favorite sandwich for over 40yrs! It’s the only sandwich I buy when I’m at Micky D’s! Sometimes I’ll order a double filet, OMG, sooo good.

  137. Oh my goodness I don’t know what it is about McDonald’s regular hamburger or cheeseburger. They are perfection. Quarter pounder with cheese? Oh my so good. But my ultimate favorite is the Egg McMuffin. That is food from heaven.
