FAST FOOD NEWS: Burger King’s Double Quarter Pound King

BK Double Quarter Pound King

Due to what I assume is muscle memory, I accidentally typed “Quarter Pounder” when I typed the title to this post.

I can understand why my brain did so because Burger King’s new Double Quarter Pounder King is similar to McDonald’s Double Quarter Pounder. Both have two 1/4 lb. beef patties, two American cheese slices, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mustard on a sesame seed bun.

The Burger King menu item has 900 calories, 54 grams of fat, 25 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat, 210 milligrams of cholesterol, 1740 milligrams of sodium, 50 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 11 grams of sugar, and 56 grams of protein.

If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

  1. Good dammit Burger King. Up until now, ask of the previous “King” sandwiches had a common link, bacon. Whether the farmhouse, rodeo, mushroom, etc, all had bacon. This, is a double Whopper, simple name, simple description. That being said, a Whopper Big King (you know, with bacon) would have been a great idea for the next King.
