FAST FOOD NEWS: Taco Bell Nacho Fries

Taco Bell Nacho Fries

Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

If you’ve always wanted fries with your Taco Bell foodstuffs without having to make a journey to another fast food chain, it’s now time to celebrate because Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries are here.

They’re seasoned with Mexican spices and served with a container of warm nacho cheese sauce. But, I guess you could also use any of Taco Bell’s hot sauces to dip the fries in. Or you could combine the nacho cheese sauce and one of the hot sauces to create a new dipping cheese! Have any of you done that before? And why did it take me so long to realize I could do that?

A serving with nacho cheese sauce has 320 calories, 18 grams of fat, 2 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, less than 5 gram of cholesterol, 620 milligrams of sodium, 35 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of fiber, 2 grams of sugar, and 4 grams of protein.

  1. Just saw this as I was eating these! Also yes, I added the Fire Sauce to the cheese sauce, used a fry to mix it, and it’s amazing!! Loving these. They feel like a new wave of fries to me, rather than just another copy of other fast food fries. If I had to rate them, they’d be a 8.5/10 for me. Nearly perfect.

  2. Had the nachos bell grande version tonight. They were good, but not crispy at all. Pretty much just long versions of the cheesy potatoes (plus beef). Maybe the standalone kind are better since the smothered variants get all steamed in the closed nacho container.

  3. I tried the stand alone fries and the supreme both were good. The stand alone fry is crunchier than the supreme. The supreme is still yummy.I would order them around 10am or 11am. Taste buds were happy!

  4. I bought a 2 pack Cinnabon Delights (balls with cream inside). I dipped one long fry into the nacho sauce and then made a penis shape with the two balls. It was the most juvenile thing I have ever done.

  5. These rule so hard. I want to stick them in a burrito next time and make a variation of the Grease Truck sandwiches (for my NJ-ers out there)

  6. These are horrible. Soggy and cold (I brought them home and it’s winter) but even in summer I’d say definitely eat them there and I still wouldn’t recommend them. How come Nacho Bell Grande has beans on it, but not the fries bell grande? I had to pay extra to add beans.

Some fries are “red/orange” in color, some hardly at all. Seems like whatever seasoning is on there is not evenly done.

I would say leave fries off the menu for good. You don’t want stuff that every other place has. You want something to set yourself apart. How about some south of the border cheese sticks (like mozzerella sticks)? One of the best sticks I’ve ever had are when I went down to Cancun.

  7. The ones I got last night were incredibly delicious and crispy! Never thought about mixing the cheese sauce with their hot sauce packets, so thanks for giving me an excuse to go back for more! 😉 I’m very impressed with Taco Bell!

  8. Sure everybody offers fries but NOT FOR A DOLLAR and they sure as hell don’t include nacho cheese so I say keep up the great work Taco Bell and let the haters hate…because if you take that away from them…well I’m not really sure what you have left but I doubt its very pleasant.

  9. I had both the nacho fries and the nacho fries bell grande with beans instead of the beef. I know most people like fries crispy but I’m not that way myself so I loved the bell grande version. I do recommend adding hot sauce to it and then mixing it all together–scrumptious! On the down side, the nacho fries have replaced the Stacker on the value menu and I adored the Stacker so I’m very disappointed at that part of it. Keep the Nacho Fries but bring back the Stacker as well!

  10. I feel this is a great addition to Taco Bell’s menu. Unfortunately as with most of their new items it probably won’t be around for too long. I tried the nacho fries as well as the nacho fries supreme. Both very solid choices. I would definitely order the supreme version again.
