SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Pepperidge Farm Mackinac Oatmeal Milk Chocolate Cookies

Pepperidge Farm Mackinac Oatmeal Milk Chocolate Cookies

Thanks, Pepperidge Farm! Thanks to these cookies and a lot of free time on my hands, I learned about Michigan’s Mackinac Island. Did you know the federal land on the island was designated as the second national park in the U.S., behind Yellowstone National Park? You didn’t? Well, now you know. (Spotted by Robbie at Target.)

If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. 1. If I didn’t grow up a short ferry ride from Mackinac (the only way to visit the island) I wouldn’t know that it’s pronounced Mac-kin-naw. Which is kind of too bad, Mac-in-ak has a nicer ring to it.

  2. My family is from this island! I got so excited when I saw these in target that I had to get them. I’ve spent every summer on this island, and it’s my favorite place in the world, hands down.
