Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

Budweiser is the King of Beers, but it’s also become the King of Partnering Up With Fast Food Chains To Offer A Special Burger.

About two years ago, the beer brand teamed up with Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. to offer the Budweiser Beer Cheese Bacon Burger. And now it’s joined Burger King to unleash the American Brewhouse King.

They even remade the classic “Whassup” Budweiser commercial. So get ready for that catchphrase to start ringing in your ear again!

The burger features two flame-grilled beef patties, three half-strips of thick-cut smoked bacon, crispy onions, tavern sauce (which, I guess, is where the Budweiser comes into play), American cheese, and mayonnaise on a sesame seed bun.

Burger King’s American Brewhouse King is available for a limited time at participating restaurants.

It has 1550 calories, 126 grams of fat, 47 grams of saturated fat, 8 grams of trans fat, 805 milligrams of cholesterol, 1820 milligrams of sodium, 21 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 134 grams of protein.

If you’ve tried the burger, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

  1. I’m a devout vegetarian, but damn does that burger look good (and unhealthy)!

I can’t wait to read the official review for it

  2. Nothing says America like stuffing 1550 calories and 126 grams of fat into a burger and then ordering the large fries….getting hungry just thinking about it.

  3. The only way it can have 21 grams of carbohydrate is if the smaller sized bun is used (rather than a Whopper bun). However, how can enough meat to equal that much protein and fat fit on a bun that small? At any rate, if you are a zero carb or low carb eater then this is the only meal you need for the day. (Of course ZC people would throw away the bun and maybe the onion straws.) I have no problem with eating mostly fat and protein but that’s too much for me, in one sitting.

  4. Just had one today, it wasn’t bad, tasted like a normal whopper with those fried onion fritters on top. They made something like this years ago, they’re just rebranding the name for marketing.

*I only have Burger King about 2-3 times a year, when I have it, it’s always a whopper with bacon and cheese or a fried chicken sandwich.
