Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

Wendy’s newest salad is the Apple Walnut Chicken Salad. Oh wait, I’m sorry. It’s called the Harvest Chicken Salad.

Apple Walnut Chicken Salad is the name my lazy ass would’ve given it if I were in charge of Wendy’s marketing because it’s so similar to Wendy’s Apple Pecan Chicken Salad and I don’t want to spend too much time coming up with names. Sure, customers might be confused and buy the wrong salad, but we’d stil be selling salads.

The Harvest Chicken Salad features red and green apples, grilled chicken, brown sugar walnuts, dried cranberries, feta cheese, Applewood-smoked bacon, and an apple cider vinaigrette on a bed of fresh-cut lettuce.

FYI, the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad has red and green apples, grilled chicken, roasted pecans, dried cranberries, blue cheese, and a pomegranate vinaigrette on lettuce.

A full size serving of the new salad has 570 calories, 23 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 0 gram of trans fat, 115 milligrams of cholesterol, 1300 milligrams of sodium, 47 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of fiber, 37 grams of sugar, and 42 grams of protein.

  1. Am I the only one that doesn’t like all this fruit in their salads? Skip the nuts as well. Way too much sugar in this to call it a salad.

  2. I’m definitely going to give this a try. I like the Apple Pecan salad, but I’m so-so on the pomegranate vinaigrette. The apple cider vinaigrette sounds better. I’m assuming the walnuts are in a separate package, like the pecans are, so I can just toss them. Plus, this one has bacon!
