FAST FOOD NEWS: Wendy’s S’Awesome Bacon Classic

S Awesome Wendys

This time last year, Wendy’s rolled out a new dipping sauce to go with its revamped chicken tenders. That sauce, a Side of S’Awesome, is now a condiment on Wendy’s newest burger.

Wendy’s S’Awesome Bacon Classic comes with a 1/4 lb. beef patty, three strips of Applewood-smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, onion, pickles, and, of course, a slathering of Side of S’Awesome on a toasted bun.

If your taste buds have not experienced the sauce, according to Wendy’s it “…blends the creaminess of ranch dressing and the smoky components of barbeque, plus a lick of hot sauce, a hint of honey mustard and a dash of Worcestershire–creating a deliciously different sauce found only at Wendy’s.”

The burger is available for a limited time at $4.99 at participating locations.

  1. It seems a bit lazy to just throw old sauce on a burger and call it a new item and if that’s the case than the whole fast food industry just got a lot more options for new sandwiches…try the new Sweet and Sour Mcchicken…is a Mcchicken with a packet of Sweet and Sour already put on for you
