So, um, fried chicken and waffles has been a thing for a while now. And it’s a bit surprising that KFC has finally decided to offer the sweet and savory dish. I mean, we got chicken & waffles potato chips and Torani syrup way before KFC’s entry.
Now that we have KFC Chicken & Waffles, what should we expect?
According to the chicken chain, its take combines the Colonel’s finger licking’ good chicken with a scrumptious waffle and wraps them in the sweet embrace of Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup.
It’s available with your choice of Original Recipe, Extra Crispy chicken, or Extra Crispy Tenders. It’s also available as a sandwich that features an Extra Crispy filet and a pair of waffles drizzled with KFC’s Hot Honey sauce.
