Starbucks’ latest Instagrammable beverage, the Cloud Macchiato, is a new take on a classic menu item.

It’s available in two flavors, Caramel and Cinnamon, and it features a whipped cold milk foam that, according to Starbucks, has a light, fluffy, and silky-smooth texture. Egg whites are a main ingredient to create the unique foam.

The Iced Caramel Cloud Macchiato starts with a whipped cold foam with a hint of vanilla syrup, espresso is then added, and it’s topped with a crosshatch of caramel drizzle.

A grande with 2% milk has 180 calories, 4 grams of fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 15 milligrams of cholesterol, 105 milligrams of sodium, 31 grams of carbohydrates, 27 grams of sugar, 5 grams of protein, and 150 milligrams of caffeine.

The Iced Cinnamon Cloud Macchiato comes with a whipped cold foam with a hint of cinnamon lemon syrup, espresso, and is topped with a caramel drizzle crosshatch and a dusting of cinnamon.

A grande with 2% milk has 190 calories, 4 grams of fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 15 milligrams of cholesterol, 105 milligrams of sodium, 33 grams of carbohydrates, 29 grams of sugar, 5 grams of protein, and 150 milligrams of caffeine.

Both beverages are also available hot.

  1. I honestly wasn’t impressed. It’s not horrible once everything blends together but the first few sips are just mouthfuls of foam. I love the Salted Cold foam cold brew, but this is just way to much foam.

  2. I agree with my similarly named friend, other cold foam drinks are way better. Honestly I really didn’t like this.

  3. Ordered this today assuming it automatically came iced because all the promo pics were in clear iced drink cups, but alas it did not. The hot one is nothing special and tastes just like a normal hot caramel macchiato.
