Last October, Popeyes offered deep fried Double Stuf Oreo Bites at a few locations in Boston for a limited time. But it appears it’s slowly (very slowly) making its way to other cities. Impulsive Buy reader Craig B took this photo at a Popeyes restaurant in Fairfield, OH.
According to the fried chicken chain, the dessert features Double Stuf Oreo cookies coated in funnel cake batter and deep fried. It’s available in a 2-piece ($1.99) or 4-piece ($2.99) order.
Two-pieces have 305 calories, which is more than double the amount of two regular non-deep fried Double Stuf Oreo cookies (140 calories), in case you were wondering.
