FAST FOOD NEWS: Hardee’s Garlic Bread Thickburger and Cheesy Garlic Fries

Hardee s Garlic Bread Thickburger

Beware, vampires and folks who consciously or unconsciously lean into other peoples’ personal spaces!

If the someone you’re getting too close to has eaten at Hardee’s, you might be pushed back because they might’ve eaten the chain’s new Garlic Bread Thickburger and/or Cheesy Garlic Fries.

The specialty Thickburger comes with a 1/3-pound Black Angus beef patty, parmesan crisps, caramelized onions, and a buttery garlic herb spread on Hardee’s butter toasted sourdough bread. It has a suggested price of $5.29. The Cheesy Garlic Fries feature the chain’s natural cut fries topped with a garlic butter sauce and cheese. The side can be added to any combo for just $1.

Both menu items are available for a limited time, while supplies last.

If you’ve tried either, pop a mint and then let us know what you think in the comments.

  1. I tried both today. I feel like the onions are questionable for the burger, but still work in maximizing the effect your breath will have in repelling people. Add to it the cheesy garlic fries, and you’ll surely clear out a room.

  2. I tried this combo today. A total disappointment but I’m not surprised. Most things that come out of my local Hardee’s are a disappointing mess. Two pieces of plain untoasted Texas toast. No caramelized onions, enough cheese to cover almost half the burger & no sauce. It’s a burger with cheese (sorta), tomatoes & little flavorless Parmesan chrisps. On a positive note, the garlic fries were delicious.

  3. I just tried the burger and while tasty, the parmeson crisps were like trying to chew cardboard. I had to take them off to be able to continue eating the burger.

  4. Just tried the garlic bread thickburger – very good, but would be better without the parm crisps (like chewing on paper). Enjoyed the garlic cheese fries, but might try them with cheese on the side next time.

  5. I just had one of these creations. As usual for Hardee’s, the burger patty was excellent. The rest of the sandwich was horrific. I couldn’t figure out what kind of white sauce to put on it. The “Parmesan Crisps” were bizarre and really horrible. Lastly, the oily goop on the bun (garlic sauce?) was without taste and really gross. I am a huge Hardee’s fan, but this burger needs to be put to rest somewhere far, far away.
