Eating a flag or fireworks is something I’d absolutely DO NOT recommend you do. But eating doughnuts made to look like our flag or fireworks, like Krispy Kreme’s Let Freedom Ring line, is something I think I can get behind.
Available for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme locations in the U.S., the Let Freedom Ring Doughnuts feature three varieties:
Freedom Ring Doughnut – Inspired by the American flag, this doughnut is decorated with red, white, and blue icing and topped with patriotic sprinkles.
Sprinkled Ring Doughnut – This patriotic themed doughnut is Krispy Kreme’s iconic Original Glazed doughnut dipped in white icing and topped with red, white, and blue sprinkles.
Firework Ring Doughnut – This new doughnut is dipped in blue icing and decorated with red and white stripes to make it look like the Fourth of July staple.
Also, for the Fourth of July holiday, Krispy Kreme is offering its Reward members a free dozen of Original Glazed Doughnuts when they purchase any dozen on July 4.

This trend of decoration only instead of having new flavors is becoming a bit boring.
I agree that just new decorations is boring, but these are reliably tasty in any case. I went with the Sprinkled Ring one because sometimes blue icing can be a bit much.
