SPOTTED: 1908 Candy Co. Chewy Alexander the Grape and Johnny Apple Treats

1908 Candy Co Chewy Alexander the Grape

1908 Candy Co Chewy Johnny Apple Treats

They’re back! To be honest, I thought they were still around. These are made by a new company, 1908 Candy Co., and come in resealable pouches instead of boxes. The 1908 represents the year the Ferrera Pan Candy Company, the original maker of these, was started. (Spotted by Josh G at Walgreens.)

  1. They came back in movie theater boxes last year – but they weren’t chewy. These were pretty fantastic!

      1. I don’t know if I’m more excited about seeing Alexander the Grape back again, or the interaction with the brand going on above!

Either way, it worked and I’m going to Walgreens today to find some! 🙂

  2. Thanks for the share @theimpulsivebuy. We’re 1908 Candy now, and can be found in select Walgreens around the country. We’ll be waiting for ya in the candy aisle.

    1. Loving the revival! Any hope for Fruit Cocktail Imperials in the not-too-distant future?

        1. The grape heads in the box are just grape covered lemon heads and they are not good. The ones in the bag shown here are delicious.
          Where can I buy them?
          Thx

  3. I want Cherry Clan back! Though the packaging will need a serious update…

  4. I hate the ones in the box that are like lemon heads and taste like lemon heads. The chewy ones in the bag are delicious. Are they still being made and where can I buy them??
