SPOTTED: Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ice Cream

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Ice Cream

When I get my hands on this, I plan to let a bunch of it melt and use it as the milk for a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Or, I’m going to do something even crazier, which is scoop some out into a bowl, grab a spoon, and eat it. Crazy, right? Using a bowl instead eating it straight from the container is a wild idea. (Spotted by Erin K at Hy-Vee.)

  1. Another cinnamon ice cream year (Breyers Cinnabon)? The skeptic in me wonders if it’s really going to be that much different than the Toy Story Churro ice cream that Dreyers had (has?) recently that didn’t wow me, but 90s me is ready to complain if my store doesn’t have this today.

    1. Found this at Safeway. It’s a good light ice cream Cinnamon flavor, with a stronger cinnamon base than the Breyers Cinnabon flavor (at least in my small sample size), as there seemed to be bits of the swirl and/or cereal pieces throughout the base. Decent/good amount of swirl and of crunchy Cinnamon Toast pieces (again, more than my Breyers Cinnabon). Whether the base is/tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch itself (as opposed to the same base as the recent Toy Story Cinnamon Churro, or even the Dreyers Snickerdoodle custard from a few years ago) is beyond my taste buds, but it was pretty tasty.
