SPOTTED: Oreo Cookie Crumbles

Oreo Cookie Crumbles

These might be pre-crumbled, but there’s something about imagining a package of Oreo cookies as someone…I mean, something else and then blugeoning it with a meat tenderizer until the package is flattened and what’s left inside are cookie and creme crumbles. (Spotted by Carla at Winco.)

  1. They found a use for all the ‘factory second’ Oreos. Or maybe they sweep the floor more often?

    1. And they found a way to get stupid people to pay them more for their defects. $2.98 for a 16 oz bag is more expensive than fully intact Oreos.

      1. Yep. Just buy fully intact oreos whenever they are on sale or get “chocolate sandwich cookies” at Dollar Tree and smash it with an hammer or whiz into the food processor.

  2. they have been available commercially for years but no idea how long actually… just know that 3-ish years ago i worked at a diner and we stocked bags of these and also butterfinger crumbles for milkshake mix-ins.
