Grammar check: Is the opposite of \u201cs\u2019more,\u201d \u201cs\u2019mless\u201d or \u201cs\u2019mfewer\u201d? I know it\u2019s a s\u2019mall detail but I want to seem s\u2019mart while I s\u2019mear this product.<\/p>\n

The Starbucks S\u2019mores bottled Frappuccino sucks. S\u2019more? How about s\u2019mfewer? (Boom. Got \u2018em. High fives all around.)<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not totally Starbucks\u2019 fault, though. Let\u2019s deconstruct the drink around the campfire. Theoretically, it\u2019s chocolate, marshmallow and graham cracker flavors in a Frappuccino. The problem begins with the concept of a liquid marshmallow. Take away the context of a fluffy, pillowy, chubby-bunny confection and you\u2019re left with a sickeningly sweet amount of sugar. That\u2019s the overriding flavor here, and it really dominates the entire campfire to the point of grimaces. <\/p>\n

Creeping below is a s\u2019mall s\u2019mattering of cinnamon notes, presumably to cover the graham cracker part. It sort of rides along and doesn\u2019t ruin things but also doesn\u2019t help much, like a Muttley to the marshmallow\u2019s Dick Dastardly. <\/p>\n

Curiously absent is a strong chocolate element. I found this strange, because Starbucks has previously given us a halfway decent bottled mocha, although a few sips here and there I detected some bitter chocolate flavoring, quickly smoothed over by a wave of dairy. Must\u2019ve s\u2019muggled it in somehow.<\/p>\n

The balance is off. The sweetness of the entire thing is cloying and also has some sort of artificial quality that makes the entire drink taste a little bit like milk that has gone bad or something. I don\u2019t know where the coffee flavor is. Yes, they botched the marshmallow part, but the lack of a woody, dry graham cracker taste is also disappointing. No s\u2019miles for this s\u2019melly coffee s\u2019moothie.<\/p>\n

There’s an in-store version of the S’mores Frappuccino now and I’m sure it’s better. It’s gotta be better. Please be better. <\/p>\n

Here we are, at the end. Dude is strumming Kumbaya on the acoustic, the s\u2019moke is billowing and I\u2019m about to tell us a scary story. The story is about how one time I had to drink a sweet ass s\u2019more. The scariest part is that it cost me almost three bucks. Oh, forget it. I can\u2019t properly picture this drink at a campground\u2026 I can, however, picture throwing it into a fire. Sorry, me being s\u2019mug.<\/p>\n
