The two have come together once again to create Popeyes Tabasco Spiced Pepper Barrel Tenders.<\/p>\nAccording to Popeyes, the key ingredient for the new menu item is the result of aging Tabasco’s red peppers in white oak barrels for three years, which is then used to marinate the all white meat chicken breast strips. Those chicken strips are then hand-battered, breaded, and fried.<\/p>\n
Three Tabasco Spiced Pepper Barrel Tenders, Cajun Fries, a buttermilk biscuit, and Popeyes’ new Smok’n Pepper Ranch Dipping Sauce are available at participating Popeyes locations for a limited time for $4.99. <\/p>\n
