KFC now has a third southern-inspired friend chicken flavor — Smoky Mountain BBQ. It joins the spicy and smoky <\/a>Nashville Hot Chicken and the sweet and tangy <\/a>Georgia Gold Honey Mustard BBQ in what KFC calls the Taste of the South menu.<\/p>\n The new flavor combines barbecue recipes from Memphis and the Carolinas. According to the press release, it has a touch of vinegar to please North Carolinians, a little bit of sweetness for the Kansas City-style faithful and a crispiness that even Memphis dry rub fans will appreciate.
