Sonic has added a new burger line to the menu — Double Stack Cheeseburgers.<\/p>\n
The Quarter Pound Double Stack and SuperSONIC Double Stack are the two options available and both feature two 100 percent pure beef patties with a layer of melty cheese between them, crinkle cut dill pickles, grilled onions, mayo, and mustard on a toasted brioche bun. <\/p>\n
The only real difference between them is the amount of beef. The Quarter Pound Double Stack Cheeseburger has, as you’ve probably figured out, two beef patties that equal a quarter pound. While the SuperSONIC Double Stack Cheeseburger comes with two beef patties that weigh a half pound.<\/p>\n
Sonic’s Double Stack Cheeseburgers are available for a limited time at participating locations. The chain is also running a special promotion with one of the new burgers, offering the Quarter Pound one with a side of tots for $2.99.<\/p>\n
