Growing up I thought of Fred Flintstone as more of a cartoon character than a cereal mascot. But now it feels like it’s the opposite. Even if there’s a new Flintstones cartoon, it’ll still feel like that. Maybe I feel this way because I yearn for the simple days of my childhood when all I would have to worry about is reapplying sunscreen every two hours and not stepping on the Lego pieces I’m always told to put away. Oh, those simple times.
