Some people in this world have called me a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153cheap bastard.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d These people include: women I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve dated, panhandlers outside of my local convenience store, family members on Christmas Day, and Girl Scouts selling cookies. <\/p>\n
However, I like to think of myself as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153very financially responsible.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d <\/p>\n
Sure, I try to find ways here and there to save money and I haggle with Girl Scouts, but that doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t make me cheap, it makes me smart. Think about it. If you saved a penny every day for a year, you would have $3.64. <\/p>\n
Now you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re probably asking yourself, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153What the hell can I get for just $3.64?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d <\/p>\n
Well you can get the refreshing goodness of FOUR Shasta Tiki Punches, the focus of our review today.<\/p>\n
Now when I say FOUR Shasta Tiki Punches, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m not talking about some tiny 12-ounce can. Nor am I talking about some wimpy 20-ounce bottle. I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m talking about a 24-ounce grande bottle, baby! Twenty-four ounces of sugary and carbonated goodness for, get this, just 89 cents.<\/p>\n
It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s not a sale price. I didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get an employee discount. I didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t buy it out of the trunk of some shady guy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s car. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the frickin\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 regular price!<\/p>\n
What does Tiki Punch taste like? It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s like a mixture of lemon-lime soda and fruit punch, and it is mighty damn good. There are other flavors in the Shasta family that are in stock at my local convenience store, like cola and orange, but the Tiki Punch stands out.<\/p>\n
Hmmm, if only the panhandlers that hang out at my local convenience store would just drink Tiki Punch instead of whatever alcohol they have hidden in their brown paper bags. The loose change they bother and harass people for would surely last a lot longer.<\/p>\n
Then again, the sugar in the Tiki Punch would probably rot their teeth, because I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think they practice any form of oral hygiene.<\/p>\n
But now that I think about it, with the money they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re saving by buying the Tiki Punch, they could probably afford toothpaste and a toothbrush.<\/p>\n
Although the Tiki Punch is cheap, it might confuse you when I say the only problem with it is the fact that it is so cheap.<\/p>\n
Let me explain.<\/p>\n
At the same convenience store I bought the 24-ounce, 89-cent Shasta Tiki Punch from, a 20-ounce bottled water costs 99 cents. The Tiki Punch is sooo cheap, that it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s cheaper than water. <\/p>\n
There\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s something slightly unsettling about that.<\/p>\n
