Seriously, no brand has ever put out more flavors, based on no research, and Chex pieces are unequivocally the world\u2019s favorite snack mix ingredient\u2026 and I am, of course, basing this on zero research. Not even a simple Google.<\/p>\n
Corn Chex, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex. Who can beat Chex? Cheerios?!<\/p>\n
Yeah, maybe Cheerios actually. They do a lot. Ah man, are Cheerios better than Chex?<\/p>\n
No! Wait, this is about Chex. Cheerios Shmeerios. They\u2019re not better, they just have better PR.<\/p>\n
Has Cheerios ever released a Caramel Corn flavor like Chex just did?! I\u2019m not gonna research it, but I don\u2019t think so. Checkmate, Cheerios.<\/p>\n
I know what you\u2019re thinking, surely Chex has done similar flavors to Caramel Corn before, but that was Caramel *beat* Corn Chex, and this is Caramel Corn *beat* Chex. It\u2019s like \u201cUnder Pressure\u201d and \u201cIce Ice Baby,\u201d totally different, but both absolute bangers.<\/p>\n
I\u2019mma need you to stop, collaborate, and listen, because this is a great cereal.<\/p>\n

When I tore the bag open, I was instantly hit with a nostalgic whiff of my favorite cereal of all time, the brand that dropped the \u201cCheeri,\u201d because it was cleaner \u2013 Oh\u2019s.<\/p>\n
Where are my Oh\u2019s fans at? Good news, Caramel Corn Chex smells and tastes pretty similar to Honey Oh\u2019s, except not in that show-offy Cheerio ring shape, but the classic Chex weave.<\/p>\n
While I can\u2019t sit here and tell you these taste exactly like legitimate caramel corn, the sweetness does subside, and it manages to take on a cornier character. A valiant effort, and also how people describe me to a T – \u201cthe sweetness subsides to reveal a cornier character.\u201d<\/p>\n

I am a little bummed these don\u2019t get closer to actual caramel corn flavor though. They hit the Fiddle, but don\u2019t quite get there on the Faddle.<\/p>\n
If you\u2019ve ever had Honey Nut Chex Mix, this isn\u2019t too far off from that, if at all. These are pretty sweet, and maybe even a bit too hard because of the sugary glaze coating, but they work well as a dry snack. I\u2019m not usually one to eat cereal without milk, but I\u2019ve been popping handfuls all week. Whereas something like dry Cap\u2019n Crunch will leave me feeling Crap\u2019y, these hit the spot.<\/p>\n

I keep mentioning \u201choney\u201d because I guess I don\u2019t taste much of a difference between honey-based cereals and the \u201ccaramel\u201d represented here. Honey\u2019s good though, right? We like honey.<\/p>\n

So, with that said, I feel some are gonna think this cereal\u2019s name is a bit of a stretch, but I still believe it\u2019s a crowd pleaser. It has the sweetness of a kid\u2019s cereal, but Chex just feels<\/em> more acceptable as an adult, so it should be fun for the whole family \u2013 hence the Family Sized box.<\/p>\n This is an easy recommendation. I\u2019m actually gonna grab another box because it has some fun Chex Mix recipes I wanna try.
