Greetings, true believers.<\/p>\n

Are you ready for one of the biggest crossover events in comic history? Yes, even bigger than Archie vs. Predator! Maybe not quite as big as Godzilla vs. Charles Barkley, but still pretty big. It\u2019s up there.<\/p>\n

Earth\u2019s mightiest heroes have assembled once again, but this time in sandwich cookie form for the new \u201cStuf of Legends.\u201d They\u2019ve made the jump from the printed page and the big screen onto\u2026 Oreo wafers.<\/p>\n

Does that sound fun? Well, this might be the laziest issue of \u201cWhat If\u201d ever.<\/p>\n

\"Oreo<\/p>\n

Stuf of Legends are just regular Oreos with a twist. Not the classic Oreo twist, you can still do that, but these cookies have a gray colored cr\u00e8me that turns blue. That\u2019s essentially it. And here I thought heroes never dye.<\/p>\n

Almost 90 years of creative inspiration to pull from the pages of Marvel Comics, and this is what they landed on. Ya know what? Fine. That\u2019s fine. Excelsior!<\/p>\n

Who am I to judge? I couldn\u2019t muster even a few \u201ccreative\u201d alternatives.<\/p>\n

I was trying to think of some Marvel heroes that changed color, and\u2026 yeah, don\u2019t bother Googling that, lest you want to hear the worst people\u2019s stupid opinions on which Captain America is better. No, they didn\u2019t ruin your childhood, MagnetoMike73.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Cap, he\u2019s joined by a couple dozen of his fellow heroes\/anti-heroes\/mutants\/robots\/aliens\/I think one dude is just a regular non-powered guy \u2013 the whole gang\u2019s here embossed on the cookies, which I guess is the ultimate selling point. It\u2019s cool, but I still wish they did something more interesting flavor-wise.<\/p>\n

\"Oreo<\/p>\n

I took a picture of all the characters and team logos represented in my pack. Feel free to see if you can name them all. Hint \u2013 they\u2019re all Skrulls!<\/p>\n

Do you want me to review an Oreo? These taste exactly the same, although I do believe they are slightly<\/em> dryer. Perhaps it\u2019s the gray cr\u00e8me with the little white thumbprint of it all.<\/p>\n

As far as the cr\u00e8me goes, I dipped it and also did the typical untwist-and-lick technique, and the gray-to-blue transition was uninspired at best. If I had to rank these amongst the myriad of Oreo variants we\u2019ve seen in the past decade, I\u2019d say they are about a Thor: Love in Thunder out of Avengers: Infinity War. I still like \u2019em, but they aren\u2019t going near the top.<\/p>\n

While the imagery of the blue cr\u00e8me doesn\u2019t exactly pop off the page, it did make my mouth extremely blue \u2013 not even Beast blue, I\u2019m talking navy Nightcrawler blue. I spared you all the pic of my disgusting maw. They didn\u2019t even really turn the milk blue, which I assume was intentional, so as to not run into brand confusion with Disney\u2019s other rapidly declining blockbuster property.<\/p>\n

So, we\u2019ve got dressed up O.G. Oreos in one of three \u201ccollectable\u201d bags, with various, almost indecipherable characters chiseled on the cookies. They\u2019re worth picking up as a one-time purchase if you\u2019re a fan of the MCU \u2013 Mondelez Cookie Umbrella.<\/p>\n

That said, if you don\u2019t care, skip ’em. The blue isn\u2019t fun enough to warrant what I fear is coming next. As Uncle Ben says, \u201cWith blue power comes green\u2026 well, you know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cute, but hopefully DC and Hydrox cook up something a little more creative.<\/p>\n
