FAST FOOD NEWS: Domino’s Pizza Now Offering Salads

Your friends want a pizza party, but you don’t want pizza because you’re the last person on Earth who has not given up on their New Year’s Resolution to eat better. Well, if your friends love you, they will order from Domino’s because the pizza chain is now selling salads.

They’re prepackaged from Ready Pac Foods, but at least they’re salads and not pizza.

There are three varieties available:

The Classic Garden is a basic salad with grape tomatoes, red onion, carrots, red cabbage, cheddar cheese, and brioche garlic croutons on romaine and iceberg lettuce. The salad, without dressing, has 200 calories 9 grams of fat, 4.5 grams of saturated fat, 20 milligrams of cholesterol, 220 milligrams of sodium, 17 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of fiber, 6 grams of sugar, and 8 grams of protein.

The Chicken Caesar Salad comes with roasted white meat chicken, Parmesan cheese, and brioche garlic croutons on blend of romaine and iceberg lettuce. A dressing-less serving has 210 calories, 7 grams of fat, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 45 milligrams of cholesterol, 520 milligrams of sodium, 15 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 3 grams of sugar, and 16 grams of protein.

The Chicken Apple Pecan Salad features roasted white meat chicken, diced red and green apples, dried cranberries, praline pecans, cheddar cheese, and a leafy spring mix. A serving without dressing has 190 calories, 4.5 grams of fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 40 milligrams of cholesterol, 350 milligrams of sodium, 23 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of fiber, 14 grams of sugar, and 13 grams of protein.

Three salad dressing are available — Ranch, Caesar, and Balsamic.

Domino’s salads are available for $5.99 each when you pair them with any of Domino’s mix and match menu items, like medium two-topping pizzas, Specialty Chicken, eight-piece chicken, Stuffed Cheesy Breads, sandwiches, pastas, and the Marbled Cookie Brownie.
