While prettier than a Reese’s Peanut Butter Egg, it’s going to take A LOT more than looks to convince me they’re worth it. I believe it is what’s inside that truly counts. (Spotted by Allison H at Walmart.)

I haven’t yet bought any Easter candy — perhaps it’s time for a side-by-side taste test of the Reese’s and Jif eggs? 😉
They’re actually pretty good. The peanut butter is surprisingly like legit Jiff. I see others complaining about the chocolate and I too always viewed Frankford as like a “cheap” brand but the chocolate is OK on these. It’s obviously not like Lindt good but it’s a serviceable vehicle for the peanut butter. Their Oreo bunny is also surprisingly good. The chocolate has that deep cocoa Oreo flavor that I was shocked they were able to replicate in the actual chocolate part of the bunny. Try to find the Jiff eggs quickly though. I got the last bag at my local Walmart last night.
Frankford is the second worst ever; it’s only toppled to the bottom by Palmer.
Shame on Jif for teaming up with such a horrible quality company.
The filling is very creamy, not at all crumbly like Reese’s. I like them.
I believe my fellow commenters who say the chocolate is terrible but how good was the chocolate on a reese’s cup really? and the filling isn’t going to have the texture of wet cat food paté. I’ll try them if I see them.
There is a big difference. Reese’s uses actual chocolate even if it’s not the highest quality for their milk chocolate.
“Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Chocolate, Skim Milk, Milk Fat, Lactose”
Both use actual chocolate.
