What’s blackstrap molasses? I’m glad you asked because now I can use the knowledge I learned when I asked Google that question. It’s the result of a third boiling of sugar cane to make molasses. It has a robust flavor and is more bitter than regular molasses. It contains vitamin B6, calcium, magnesium, iron, and manganese. It’s used in baking, making ethanol, cattle feed, and fertilizers.
