FAST FOOD NEWS: Starbucks Teavana Lightly Sweet Chai Tea Latte and Shaken Iced White Tea

Teavana Lightly Sweet Chai Tea Latte

Starbucks is kicking spring off with two new Teavana Tea beverages — Lightly Sweet Chai Tea Latte and Shaken Iced White Tea.

The new chai tea is a less-sweet take on Teavana’s Classic Chai Tea Latte. It’s black tea infused with cinnamon, clove, and other spices that’s mixed with milk, liquid cane sugar, and ice. It’s also available hot.

A 16-ounce Lightly Sweet Chai Tea Latte Iced with 2% milk has 190 calories, 4 grams of fat, 2.5 grams of saturated fat, 15 milligrams of cholesterol, 100 milligrams of sodium, 31 grams of carbohydrates, 30 grams of sugar, and 7 grams of protein.

Teavana Shaken Iced White Tea

Teavana’s Shaken Iced White Tea is, according to Starbucks, “soft and delicate with a clean, bright finish.” Okay. Like all Teavana Shaken Iced Teas, they can be unsweetened or sweetened.

A sweetened 16-ounce serving has 45 calories, 0 grams of fat, 10 milligrams of sodium, 11 grams of carbohydrates, 11 grams of sugar, 0 grams of protein, and 20-25 milligrams of caffeine.

FAST FOOD NEWS: 7-Eleven Trolli Pineapple Lime Slurpee

Trolli Pineapple Slurpee

Last year, Trolli and 7-Eleven teamed up to offer a candy that was prominent in one of my nightmares, the James Harden Edition Sour Brite Weird Beards.

This year, the two are collaborating again to offer Trolli Sour Brite Sloths candy. The new chewy candy features Strawberry & Grape, Blue Raspberry & Berry Punch, and Pineapple & Lime flavors.

But that’s not all.

And, if you want something appropriate to suck up that Slurpee, a Weirdly Awesome Trolli Slurpee straw is available for purchase at $1.99. It comes with a free 2-ounce package of Trolli candy and a chance of brain freeze.

Trolli Sour Brite Sloths and the Trolli Pineapple Lime Slurpee are exclusively available at participating 7-Eleven stores nationwide through April 30.

An 8-ounce serving has 56 calories, 0 grams of fat, 16 milligrams of sodium, 16 grams of carbohydrates, 16 grams of sugar, and 0 grams of protein.
