Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

Today is the day Taco Bell rolls out nationwide the new Naked Chicken Chalupa that features a crispy chicken as its shell.

That shell is made with four ounces of marinated, all white meat chicken that’s antibiotic-free. Packed in the shell there’s shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and a creamy avocado ranch sauce. It has a suggested price of $2.99. It will also be featured in a $5 Box that also includes a Doritos Locos Taco, Crunchy Taco, and medium drink.

Taco Bell has been testing the Naked Chicken Chalupa since last spring, but the chain has been testing crispy chicken shells since 2015.

FAST FOOD NEWS: McDonald’s Mac Trio

McDonald s Mac Trio

Out of the billions of burgers McDonald’s has sold over the years, many of them have been the classic Big Mac. And almost 30,000 of those Big Macs have been sold to Don Gorske. But all these years he’s never had to decide which Big Mac he should eat because there was just one.

But with McDonald’s new Mac Trio, he now has options. Along with the original Big Mac, the fast food chain is also offering for a limited time the Grand Mac and Mac Jr.

The Grand Mac features 1/3 lb of 100 percent real beef in two patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and special sauce on a larger sesame seed bun. The Mac Jr has just one of those beef patties that’s in the Grand Mac, a slice of American cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and special sauce on the same sesame seed bun as the Big Mac.

The Mac Jr has 460 calories, 27 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 70 milligrams of cholesterol, 830 milligrams of sodium, 36 grams of carbohydrates, 7 grams of sugar, 3 grams of fiber, and 21 grams of protein.

The Grand Mac has 860 calories, 52 grams of fat, 18 grams of saturated fat, 2 grams of trans fat, 140 milligrams of cholesterol, 1470 milligrams of sodium, 62 grams of carbohydrates, 13 grams of sugar, 5 grams of fiber, 41 grams of protein.

And to compare, here are the nutrition facts for the original Big Mac has 540 calories, 28 grams of fat, 10 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 80 milligrams of cholesterol, 950 milligrams of sodium, 46 grams of carbohydrates, 9 grams of sugar, 3 grams of fiber, and 25 grams of protein.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Burger King’s New Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Burger King s New Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Goodbye, Burger King Tendergrill Chicken Sandwich!

Although I’m pretty sure I’ve never eaten you, I’m sure you were tender, grilled, had chicken, and were a sandwich. But you’re in a better place now with friends like the YUMBO, Burger Shots, and BK Fire-Grilled Ribs. You were a slightly healthier option than your Tendercrisp brother, who will live on longer than you. But your spirit lives on with Burger King’s new Grilled Chicken Sandwich.

It’s made with white meat chicken marinated and seasoned with pepper and herbs, which you weren’t. It’s topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise on a potato bun.

The sandwich has 470 calories, 19 grams of fat, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 85 milligrams of cholesterol, 850 milligrams of sodium, 39 grams of carbohydrates, 6 grams of sugar, and 37 grams of protein.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Burger King BBQ Bacon King

BK BBQ Bacon King

Rwgijfear h;er.

I imagine the amount of time it took for me to slam my fingers on my keyboard a couple of times to create the previous sentence of gobbeldyguke is the same amount of time it took for the BK test kitchens to come up with the new BBQ Bacon King.

Much like the chain’s original Bacon King, this new version features two 1/4 lb flame-grilled beef patties, thick-cut smoked bacon, two slices of American cheese, ketchup, and mayonnaise on a sesame seed bun. But the only difference between the two is a generous squirting of BBQ sauce.

The barbecue-ified Bacon King has 1100 calories, 75 grams of fat, 29 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat, 220 milligrams of cholesterol, 1850 milligrams of sodium, 51 grams of carbohydrates, 13 grams of sugar, and 57 grams of protein.

If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

FAST FOOD NEWS: Arby’s To Bring Venison Sandwich To Nebraska

Arby s Venison Sandwich

Did you miss Arby’s Venison Sandwich when it was available at specific locations on specific days in specific states last year? If so, you have a chance to try the sandwich if you live near specific locations on specific days in a specific state. That state, my deer eating friends, is Nebraska — the Cornhusker State.

The hard-to-get sandwich features a thick-cut venison steak topped with crispy onion strings and juniper berry sauce on a toasted roll. We gave it a positive review last year.

The two following Nebraska locations will be offering the Venison Sandwich:

Wednesday, Jan. 18
5540 O ST
Lincoln, NE 68510

Thursday, Jan. 19
13610 W MAPLE RD
Omaha, NE 68164

Since the sandwich sold out in minutes at other locations, we’d highly suggest you go early to wait in the guaranteed line of people that’ll be waiting for those two Arby’s locations to open.

Good luck, Nebraskans!
