Arby’s has rolled out new Fajita Flatbreads for a limited time. Well, actually just the chicken ones are new. The steak ones showed up last year.

The menu item comes with your choice of roasted chicken or Angus steak, Colby jack cheese, red & yellow peppers, red onions, shredded iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and fajita seasoning in a pita. You also have a choice of getting it mild or spicy. If you decided to take the mild route, your flatbread will come with sour cream avocado sauce. But if you go spicy, then it’ll come with ghost pepper avocado sauce.

A mild Chicken Fajita Flatbread has 570 calories, 28 grams of fat, 8 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 210 milligrams of cholesterol, 1290 milligrams of sodium, 49 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 6 grams of sugar, and 30 grams of protein. A spicy Steak Fajita Flatbread has 580 calories, 29 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 195 milligrams of cholesterol, 1510 milligrams of sodium, 51 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 6 grams of sugar, and 31 grams of protein.

So this came out a month ago at the Canadian donut chain Country Style, who is also responsible for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Doughnut. A month is old in fast food limited time only menu item years. It’s like 50 years. But I had to let the TIB audience know about this doughnut that many of you can’t get, but even if you could, you probably won’t get.

The doughnut features a chocolate dipped yeast doughnut with jalapeño cream cheese and topped with more jalapeño cream cheese and jalapeño potato chips.

To celebrate National Pumpkin Day on October 26, Krispy Kreme will be making for one day a pumpkin spice version of their Original Glazed Doughnut.

I guess they’re doing it on National Pumpkin Day because they missed National Pumpkin Spice Day on October 1 and they figured they wouldn’t sell many on National Pumpkin Pie Day since it lands on a real holiday — Christmas.

According to Krispy Kreme, the very limited time only offering involves taking their signature Original Glazed Doughnut and infusing it with pumpkin flavors. It’ll be available at participating Krispy Kreme shops in the U.S. and Canada.

Wendy’s has a new value burger, the Swiss Junior Bacon Cheeseburger. Or as the fast food chain is calling it on their website, the Swiss JBC.

Just add some Swiss to the JBC.
On a mission trying to make something tasty.

Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. The melody for Warren G’s “Regulate” popped into my head when when I saw JBC.

The burger features a beef patty, Applewood-smoked bacon, tomato, lettuce, a slice of Swiss, and ranch sauce. It has 380 calories, 200 calories from fat, 22 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 55 milligrams of cholesterol, 720 milligrams of sodium, 26 grams of carbohydrates, 5 grams of sugar, 2 grams of fiber, and 21 grams of protein.

Papa John’s is now offering Pan Pizzas with a thick and crunchy crust, much like the pan crust you’d find at Pizza Hut and Domino’s.

According to Papa John’s, the chain has been working on their Pan Pizza for a year and a half. The crust features seven simple ingredients: flour, extra virgin olive oil, cold-filtered water, sugar, salt, yeast, and oil. It’s made fresh and has no artificial preservatives.

For a limited time, Papa John’s is offering the new Pan Pizza with three topping for only $10 in a sleek, new box with a black exterior and full-color top that was specifically designed for the new pizza.
