Remember when Dreyer’s-Edy’s light ice cream containers looked different than their Grand ice cream? Anyhoo, Birthday Cake (a.k.a. Take the Cake) is back for the, um, I’ve lost track already how many times this flavor has returned. Due to what I assume is muscle memory, I accidentally typed “Quarter Pounder” when I typed the title to this post.
I can understand why my brain did so because Burger King’s new Double Quarter Pounder King is similar to McDonald’s Double Quarter Pounder. Both have two 1/4 lb. beef patties, two American cheese slices, onions, pickles, ketchup, and mustard on a sesame seed bun.
The Burger King menu item has 900 calories, 54 grams of fat, 25 grams of saturated fat, 3 grams of trans fat, 210 milligrams of cholesterol, 1740 milligrams of sodium, 50 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 11 grams of sugar, and 56 grams of protein.
