  1. That is a waste of money just for one straw! So it just a straw half dipped into a sugary coating. I can do that at home and make multiples of these. $1 for 150-200 plastic straws; take some cooled caramel and then roll into demara sugar or sugar cooked to a hard state; then break into small shards. For the pineapple one; I could take a straw dip into coconut water then crushed pineapple candies. BOOM! DONE!

    1. No $%#* Sherlock. You can make anything for cheaper, dummy. It’s all about convenience and cool factor and meeting people’s tastes or Instagram cravings.

  2. Is this seriously your answer to plastic straws in the environment? Straws in a PLASTIC BAG?!?!?!

    1. no. in case you missed it the date on this post was from may and they didnt decide to get rid of plastic straws until july so it is clearly not their answer to plastic straws in the environment. It is a product they are selling to increase their profit margin. their solution to plastic straws in the environment is a redesigned lid that is made from recycled materials and is reminiscent of a “sippy cup”. Try fact checking things before coming on to company websites and showing your ass.

      1. the new lid uses more plastic than the original lid/straw combo used. So, it was all for appearances, apparently.

  3. What’s the point of a flavoured straw? It’ll either taste like your drink or it’ll make your drink taste of some weird concoction! ? Worse still- it’s a reusable straw IN A PLASTIC WRAPPER! Ridiculous ?

  4. So I thought they wanted to cut down on plastic. Now they are selling individual straws wrapped in plastic?
