Update: We tried them! Click here to read our review.

I find this year’s Flavor Swap to be more interesting than the previous one. Familiar flavors on familiar chips looks good to me. I wonder if this was influenced by Frito-Lay putting Flamin’ Hot on EVERYTHING. (Spotted by Matthew A at 7-Eleven.)

  1. They did the same thing in Canada. Though the Lays flavours in Canada didn’t appeal to me… Smartfood White Cheddar Popcorn, Doritos Sweet Chili Heat, Ruffles All Dressed. I would try all 3 American Lays.

    1. Smartfood White Cheddar is new in Canada? We’ve had it in the States for literally decades. I guess we don’t /rerelly have all dressed/ketchup either.

  2. WANT the Funyuns version! I have been a long-time fan of Funyuns, ever since I first discovered them in the vending machine in my high school cafeteria (longer ago than I care to say…ha). I rarely indulge in them, these days, but, when I do…yum!

  3. Still don’t really see why these exist, and yet will still be trying every single one of them. Lay’s are some(what) evil geniuses, that’s for sure.

  4. This is JUST Lays being lazy….

If I want a Funyun I want a funyun.. The wavy lays crunch and taste is just not the same as the Funyun crunch and taste.

I say in the end this is a fail.

  5. Just had the Funyuns Lays and wow it was really good. Better then regular Funyuns. I found it more onion flavor then Funyuns, Im assuming because you taste the seasoning more since its on a whole chip. Would buy again for sure.
